Annual Fundraising Banquet!
Dear Friends of Morning Star,
We are grateful for the opportunity to share what God is doing through Morning Star Fresh Food Ministry and would love to invite you to our annual "Bridge the Gap" Banquet on Saturday, April 18th. It is through partnerships with you, our supporters and donors and our local butchers, farmers and growers, that we are able to purchase and provide high-quality meats, fresh fruits, and vegetables to over 550 families every month. The food we are able to source nourish both the body and the spirit!
Every month, our volunteers help pack and deliver the food boxes to families in Bakersfield, CA - Sharing not only fresh food, but also the love and hope of Jesus Christ. Together, with the entire team, we are able to help lighten the burden during the last week of the month. Your faithfulness as donors and volunteers play a vital role in this ministry. We invite you to continue walking with us in this mission. Your generosity helps us extend our reach, serve more families, and shine the light of Jesus in practical meaningful ways.

Every Month
We source local growers, farmers and butchers
to provide fresh food to families in Bakersfield every month.
Every fourth Saturday of the month, volunteers come together, individuals and families, to pack and fill boxes with fresh fruits and veggies and locally sourced meats.
After the boxes are packed, we gather to pray for the families we serve and then have teams of people deliver the fresh food to local churches,
non-profits and families at their homes.
Relationships are built and the message of Hope is shared.
